NORTH TEXAS TEEN BOOK FESTIVAL

Our Story:

Wanting to build on her teen centered library programming and inspired by other sizable teen focused book festivals around the great state of Texas, Irving Public Library’s Senior Librarian Kristin Treviño decided she was ready to execute her vision for a local book festival that offered inclusive and varied programming for middle grade and young adult literature readers in the North Texas area. Kristin reached out to be to ask me to partner in making NTTBF happen, and the rest is history—hundreds of authors and programs, tens of thousands of young people celebrating stories, and many, many books celebrated!
